It’s not just that there’s no “.wordpress” in my domain name (a major thrill for me, I’ll admit it). It’s that this new blog represents a major step forward in both my personal and professional growth. Since I had my oldest daughter nearly seven years ago and made the decision to stay home with her for three years, I’ve been on a journey of sorts. Trying to figure out who I am, and what it is that I really want to do — aside from being the best darn mom and wife I can be, of course!

Some people might say that you can’t get too personal on your business website or blog. I say hogwash. I mean, I’ll definitely keep it clean. But I refuse to create a wall of words — designed to impress potential clients or inflate my ego — that ultimately stands between me and, well… you.

Instead, I’ll take a risk. I’ll let you get to know me, my growing body of work, and my style. And I’ll hope that you think of me when you need fresh, new words for your business.
